Came home from Europe a little over a week ago. I want to go back, and take my cousin with me. Advice on cities to visit needed.

Hello! Like I said, I was in Europe a week and a half ago. I loved it. I didn't want to come home honestly. While I was speaking with my cousin she said she would like to go to Europe, but she can't convince her bf to go with her. Of course I would love to go back, and show her where I went in the process. She will be 21, and I am 25. We both have our passports.

Where I've Been: France, Belgium, and The Netherlands. .

Length: Two weeks, maybe a little longer. That's a stretch though for work.

Budget: I said we should probably save $5,000 each for the both of us. This will hopefully include ticket, meals, places to stay, train, souvenirs, etc.

Climate: I like the spring time. Not too hot, not too cold, but enough to be comfortable. I dislike being cold.

Interests: Expanding our brains and learning while we're there. When I went we focused a lot on WW1 and WW2 things. Would love to go back and see the Anne Frank huis again. Cousin would love to see this as well. She would also like to see Auschwitz, but I'm not sure if I can handle that emotionally. Another thing is whether time can permit. We would also like to see all the other regular site seeing things.

Safety: We're both incredibly intelligent, and use our common sense. I've been in a lot of sketchy places before. Preferably something on the safer side. I don't want to scar her.

With all of this said, she has expressed she would like to go to as many places as possible within two weeks. I figured we could hit up Paris, try for Versailles, Bruges, and Amsterdam. She would also like to see Germany, which I'm not opposed to as well. So either we can go to Poland, or we can go to Germany. Poland for Auschwitz, but I'm not sure what would be a good choice in Germany.

One more thing to add. I only know a little bit of French, and she knows Spanish. I managed to get around pretty well in France on my very basic French. A lot of people were very kind if I didn't understand.

Are there any thoughts or recommendations you would have for us? We would like to go next May. So that gives us time to get the money saved, and make a rough draft of plans. Thanks!
