I am traveling from the US to Spain in July and looking for suggestions on two questions:
Using roaming on my phone is not an option, as I only have a work phone and a request will not be approved. My choices are: buy a cheap world unlock phone and get a SIM card upon arrival, or buy some type of cheap burner phone when I arrive. I will likely only make a few calls to family friends. I will arrive in Madrid, and be traveling to various cities. Which is the better option and can I expect to be able to buy either of these upon arrival?
My electronics will consist of: ipad and possibly a kindle. What type of converter should I buy? I'm confused between a plug adapter or a voltage converter.
