I would really love to travel, but how do you get up and actually go?
Getting 'permission' from parents is kinda difficult, they just want me to stay in one place/city and 'live my life' there and thats it. No one I know has actually travelled, so IF i was to travel it would be alone (solo). I dont know where everyone's life is taking them, most (if not everyone) I know don't have an adventurous side to them, they want to work, earn money, get married, have kids, grow old (and die) and apparently thats 'normal'.
I am a student, so have a little bit of money saved (around £2k-£3k), is that 'enough' to go and see some good places around the world (apparently my money will go pretty far in South America?)
How 'safe' is it travelling alone? Do you 'need' travel companions?
Any other advice you guys can give me?
