I'm an American guy who majored in philosophy - even published a paper on the Ancient Greeks - so I've always wanted to visit Greece. My girlfriend is Polish, and she loves the beach. So it was a natural choice. All our bookings are through AirBnB. Here's our itinerary:
- Athens (2 nights)
- Ios (3 nights)
- Santorini (1 night)
- Mykonos (2 nights)
- Crete (2 nights)
- Athens again (1 night)
For you folks in /r/travel who have done these places or a similar trip, what were your favorite things to do and see? What can we not miss? Also, we were planning on taking the ferry to each location. Is this possible and are the connections okay?
