I'm a hopeful traveler-to-be, currently in my (hopefully) final year of college in America. I spend a semester last year studying abroad in Manchester, using every weekend to explore the UK (London, Edinburgh, the Isle of Skye, the Lake District, Liverpool, York, Bath, Snowdonia, Warwick Castle, Yorkshire Dales, Chester, etc) and then using the 3 week long break to do a whirlwind tour of Europe (Munich, Prague, Vienna, Venice, Florence, the Cinque Terre, Rome, Paris, Brussels, then later on Amsterdam).
How do those of you who explore the world so often do it? How do you afford it, or how do you get jobs that allow you take off so much time? I'd gladly put a lot of my income into traveling if I had the option. Do any of you have any careers that you can do from anywhere? I'm an English major with experience in libraries, advertising, and arts and entertainment journalism.
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!
