Hello Reddit! My boyfriend and I both need a break from work, so we are looking to take off a week to go to a tropical island for some relaxation.
The destinations we are looking at include: Puerto Rico, The Dominican Republic (Punta Cana) and Turks and Caicos.
We are taking off the week of September 29th, and have a budget around $800/pp inlcuding flights - not including a couple extra hundred for activities.
We would really like to go to an all-inclusive resort since we both love to eat and drink, and we also want a place with great pools!
We also do not want to be reliant on a car since we are not 25 and don't want to get lost in whatever area we choose.
If you have any travel tips or advice, please let me know! I am starting to plan and don't know where to start!
