i will be studying in the city of Lübeck for a whole entire year and this will be the very first time in Europe and to be away thousands of miles from where i live. I just got a few questions for you guys. I have practically zero German but its an opputunity that im not leaving.
I only got one carryon and one check in luggage at 50lbs, what would be my most essential things to bring? I would be in Northern Germany, pretty much on the coast.
Would bringing a harddrive full of pirated movies and tv shows pose a risk for me in leaving the US and entering Netherlands/Germany? Or should i just scrap the idea altogether, as i also heard that torrenting is risky business in Germany.
I have posted in r/Germany and have gotten alot of info but im very curios of what you guys can say.
