A lot of travel advice I see is mostly for folks traveling but children. Any travelers out here with kids? How do you afford it? I imagine you can't bringing your toddler to a hostel.
Which countries offer the most family friendly options? I'd like to take a week or two out of the country with my husband and our almost two year old. We'd like to keep it under $2.5k. We have family we can stay with in Norway, and friends we can stay with in Tokyo, Münster, and Reykjavik. We've been to Germany, and I have been to Norway, London, and Edinburgh (would love to bring my husband to any of these places.) We live in Florida and would like to escape the tropics.
Thoughts? What would you do? Is $2.5k totally unrealistic? I found airfare to Norway for the three of us for $1k but am concerned the overall cost would be higher due to things being to expensive there. Appreciate the help!
