I would be traveling from Atlanta Ga to New Zealand. My girlfriend will be there for about a month for an externship in Te Awamutu. She has two weeks vacation after her externship and wants me to come visit while she is there. I can only get 5-6 days off from work and then add in a weekend, I am looking at about 8-9 days total for travel and vacationing.
I know I wont be able to see all I would like to in my first experience visiting a new country, but it would be a great experience nonetheless. I was just wanting to know if it was worth the $3500 or so I would spend to go to NZ.
It going to take about 3 days worth of flying round trip with layovers and such so Im estimating roughly 5 days of actual time in NZ.
