Hey /r/travel,
I jumped on the Priceline RTW ticket deal a few months back and am getting ready to lock down my itinerary. I'm looking to spend 4 - 5 weeks abroad and was hoping you could provide some guidance on cities/things I might want to hit along the way. I'm into the outdoors (surfing, hiking), photography and of course, food. My proposed itinerary is below:
11/11 - JFK -> MXP
Spain, Morocco, Switzerland?
11/20 - PRG -> AMS 11/21 - AMS -> HKG
Macau? Any other suggestions here? I was also considering a Fiji (or another south pacific stopover on the way to Australia)
11/29 ? - ? -> MEL
From here, I was planning on making my way up the eastern side of Australia to Cairns and Whitsunday with a pitstop in Sydney.
12/13 - SYD -> HNL 12/14 - HNL -> SAN
That's all I've got for now. Appreciate any suggestions.. and please let me know if any of you are planning on traveling a similar route during those time. Could use a travel buddy or two!
