My sister and I (early/mid-twenties) -- living in LA and NYC, respectively -- would really like to do something different for the NYE holiday this year. We haven't traveled outside the country much, but we're thinking maybe Montreal or Toronto. Which one is the better place to celebrate NYE, from a cost/fun/uniqueness perspective?
(Other options on the burner: London, Shanghai, Dublin -- but since those are much more expensive, we're realistically looking at Canada. Opinions would be appreciated, however!)
