Three months ago I quit my job to go and see a bit of the world. As I've gone I've tried to take the time now and then to talk about some of the things I've learned and places I've seen. I know four months ago I was always checking places like /r/travel to hear from people who'd done something similar, so I thought I'd share. I hope some of you find it entertaining or useful.
Packing: This video you may actually find useful. I show what all I'm bringing with me, it doesn't take long because I've been doing this trip with only a 25L backpack.
Prelude: This is just a bit of info about myself and what my plans were.
Cruise: I voyaged from America to Europe by cruise, which isn't so expensive an option as long as you book it far enough in advance. This and each subsequent video has in the description a link to pictures if you have an interest and seeing what I've seen.
England: This video covers the first few weeks of my trip which took me to Southampton, Oxford, London, and then down to Cornwall.
Cornwall and Wales: I talk more about delightful Cornwall and my trip up through Wales.
Ireland: I spent a bit of time in Dublin before moving on to Galway to see some of the sights of Irelands West Coast.
North Ireland and Scotland: I spent a few days touring about North Ireland and then headed to Edinburgh, which I would say is the most beautiful city I've seen so far.
I'm now on my way through Continental Europe, and still plan on making more videos.
