I'm moving from SC to Los Angeles in mid-August, and I'm driving so I can have my car in LA. I don't really have any plans yet; I'm taking i-10, giving myself about a week to get out there, and just have plans to stop off and visit friends in Atlanta, GA, Baton Rouge, LA and Austin, TX. I'd love some tips for things to see, where to eat, etc, especially in Baton Rouge and Austin, but most of all I really need some advice on cool side stops and places to stay along i-10.
