Hello r/travel!
I'll be going to Uganda for a research trip in a week and need some suggestions on where to stay. I'll be based in Kampala, but also want to check out Arusha, Dar, Zanzibar, and then some of Nairobi, maybe Mombasa. I'm also toying with the idea of going to Ethiopia.
My flight gets in late to Entebbe (10:30 pm) and I know I have to get the visa, so I wanted to stay in a nice hotel the first night or two that would come pick me up, and then switch to something way more affordable. Any ideas?
Bonus points if you throw in a tidbit about travelling between cities. Thanks everyone!
