I want to experience Spain next Summer so plan to visit at least Madrid, Barcelona and Pamplona during the San Fermin festival. Looking at hotel and hostel prices, they seem to be quite a lot and definitely a lot more than I'm wanting to pay for the whole week's festivities. I was wondering if anyone could recommend which might be the best part of the festival (ie. beginnning, middle, end) or if there is even a part better than the rest. Alternatively, if anyone could suggest a way to stay for the whole festival for as cheap as possible that would be equally well received.
