So, I'm hoping to travel to Europe from Sept-December (I may stay longer by going to the UK since I read that it's outside the Schengen zone and therefore, not affiliated with the 90 day rule. Please correct me if this isn't the case). With that said, I know I have to have a return flight to the US so they don't think I'm illegally trying to stay there.
Question 1: I plan on arriving in Oslo, but leaving from another country/city (possibly London or Paris or Amsterdam) to come back home. If I have an arrival flight for Oslo in September, but a departing ticket from another city in another country dated 3ish months later, will that be ok without having to buy all the flights in between those 3-4 months? I plan on traveling to several other countries , but would rather buy the tickets while I'm in Europe in case I want to stay in one country longer. Edit: I spent a year in France with a student visa two years ago, but the arriving and returning city was the same. Additionally, the previous trip to Europe was for 2 weeks so all flights were already booked and printed.
Question 2: Is this route the most cost-efficient or should I re-arrange the list? The only thing I'm committed to is going to Germany in early October.
1.Norway (arriving country) 2. Sweden 3. Denmark 4. Germany 5. UK 6. France 7. Switzerland 8.Austria/Hungary 9. The Netherlands
Thanks to whoever reads and answers this!
