I'm trying to find out if the carry-on counts as one of the 2 free checked bags, but the website is unclear.
Also, I have a suitcase I'm checking in, then a smaller suitcase as a carry-on. They say I can also have a personal item, such as a purse. Could it be a backpack, or will they charge me more for that?
This is very important, as I'm getting out of a bad situation in a hurry, and I have to downsize all my possessions to whatever fits in a couple of bags.
