Solo versus partner travel costs for Europe and Budget for Summer.

Just looking to start my budget for a European backpacking vacation next June to July. We will be going for 4-5 weeks and I am looking to get some input on the costs of doing it as a couple versus solo. About us: Both 22 y/o , couple, we have traveled but only in solo trips to SAE and West Euro. Planning on staying in hostels, Airbnb, and a possible couch surf for a day or two. We also plan on drinking and partying in Croatia quite a bit. The trip: 4-5 weeks. Fly into Prague or Budapest, then head down to the Croatian islands for about a week, then take a ferry to Italy and stay for a weeks, then take a flight to Belgium where we plan on going to Tomorrowland (festival) , then finish it off Amsterdam.

Budget: 6,000(max) pp for flight+ travel+ Festival. I am thinking that the flight we cost around 1,000-1,200. Festival ticket is about : $500 ( includes camping and is 4 days) And about 3,000 pp for the month of travel. ( 75 pp a day for Croatia/ Budapest/ Prague) (100pp for Italy/ Netherlands/ Belgium).

A few questions I have: Will traveling as a couple save us a lot of money or not really?

Is $100pp a day a good budget for Europe in the summer?

Thanks
