I'm traveling around Ireland for a little over a week in August. For large parts of my trip it seems to make sense just to get a rental car so I can really enjoy the country side.
I was thinking, instead of getting a hostel and such, that I could just sleep in the rental car the days that I am using it. I've heard that hotels will sometimes let you shower at them if you go in and ask. And I feel like this could save me a good deal of money.
Does anybody have any thoughts on this? Has anybody done this before? If so, just some general questions:
1) What places are generally good to park a car and sleep at? 2) Did you try getting a shower at a hotel or another place? 3) Any other tips?
