/r/travel Study abroad without the studying

This fall I'll be studying in England and I want to know the top places I should visit as an adventurous and open-to-everything college student. I know about /r/studyabroad but it doesn't get much action, so I figured I would jump over here to get your guys help!

Where I'm Coming From: I'm going to school in the Gloucestershire region but will most likely be flying out of London depending on where I'm headed.

Budget: My budget will be around $5000-7000.

Length: I'll be overseas for a little over 3 months. Most of my trips will be during weekends so in the range of 3-4 days.

Potential Locations: I want to see different places throughout the UK (England, Ireland, Scotland mainly), as well as literally anywhere else within the surrounding countries.

Where I've Been: Rome, Florence, Venice, Amalfi Coast and Capri, Italy so I most likely don't want to go there, but again, if there's something special you know about I would love to hear it.

I've done a good amount of research when it comes to transportation and lodging, but any advice or suggestions would be great! Let me know if you have any questions so I can clarify.
