I'll be going on a roadtrip with a friend from NYC to DC next week. We still need to find a car (yes, this is something of an important thing to work out for a roadtrip). I'm the only one with a drivers licence, and I'm under 25. Also, we want to drop the car off in DC (no return to NYC).
Can anyone recommend rental car companies in NYC that will rent to youngens like me and allow me to drop the car off in DC?
Also, should I drive down I-95 or should I head west behind the mountains instead?
