Hey r/travel, I'm going to be moving to Barcelona next week to start a TEFL certificate program and (hopefully/likely) be a teacher. The thing is, I'm going to have about two weeks all to myself and I want to make the most of my time. I've traveled to Europe before (studied abroad in Prague) but I've never been to Spain. I'd really like to see the countryside and I love old european architecture. Mostly however, I'm not sure what there is to see so I'm open to suggestion.
I'm sorry if this is somewhat vague, but the TL;DR of it is that I've got two weeks to myself in Spain and want to see as much old, cool stuff as possible, and I'd like to get out of the city itself to see some of it. If anyone has experience in the region I'd love to hear your advice. Thank you!
