Looking for fun voodoo, supernatural, haunted things for vacation in New Orleans!

Hello!

So I'm a female, 24 years old and for my friend's birthday we are going to New Orleans at the end of July/beginning August. Will be there for 5 days (going to be there for Louis Armstrong's b-day and the jazz festival that will be occurring!)

He's already got plans of must sees but I very much like the supernatural and witchy stuff. I think it's fun and is a guilty pleasure of mine. So does anyone know of any place/places I could go or visit that they really believe in this stuff that's not overly touristy?

I'm hoping to visit shops, haunted plantations, maybe some not well known areas where I can really get "the vibe". Do those dark alley, hidden voodoo shops really exist? Any hints would be greatful!

These are the places that I've found so far, if you've been there or heard negative or positive things feel free to let me know because coming from a tourist town myself, I know a lot of advertised things are just tourist traps.
