Has anybody used the Aegean Air mileage program to get access to Star Alliance lounges? How did you do it?

I've been reading around and I guess Aegean Air will give you Gold benefits if you travel 20,000 miles. Has anybody tried doing this? Was it difficult. I know about all the caveats. Does anyone know anyone who did it, was it worth it?
