Travelling to Las Vegas this august and I'm of course heavily considering a tour to Grand Canyon. I've been searching for a suitable company to take us. But I'm having a hard time actually finding a company which is trustworthy, not too expensive (most be cheaper than 450 USD per person), and forfilling our wishes (for instance helicopter most be included).
I'm also not clear if I should go to the west rim or the south rim... Both have their pros and cons.
West rim:
Pros:
Helicopter landing in the bottom of the canyon
Short transport times
Las Vegas Strip Fly Over
Hoover Dam aerial views often included
Cons:
More expensive
Less breathtaking
Tourist Trap
South Rim:
Pros:
Most beautiful views
Cheaper
Cons:
No landing in the canyon
Extremely long travel time
No Las Vegas Strip fly over
What do you guys recommend?
