So I already asked a few months ago before we booked, but just need more information. We are flying into Lisbon on the 13th from Boston, I still have not booked a place to stay seeing that my family all has different ideas on what to do. My mother grew up in Valpaços and is not familiar with Lisbon or what Lisbon has to offer.
My plan so far is to find a place in Lisbon, allow that to be our home base per say, since we are leaving out of Lisbon on the 19th. Now picking a place in lisbon is tricky, I know its a major city and has public transportation but if someone came to Boston I know there are better places to stay than others. I made the mistake on a trip to Madrid to be located out of the heart of the city and we had nothing to really do at night. An area with good restaurants and bars would be great. Also any other tips would be great.
