Hi /r/travel. This is the order in which I will be visiting for 3 weeks in September. I already have my plane tickets arriving to Madrid and leaving Amsterdam. I will be staying 3 nights at each city and leaving in the morning to the next.

Should I get a combination of a Eurail pass and cheap flights or all Eurail/flights?
What should I do to get the most value/sights/experiences at each city?
How else should I prepare myself for this adventure? (what to pack, best traveling backpack, emergencies, phone service etc).
What are some dangerous cons/areas I should watch out for?
