Hi everyone! I'm going to Italy with my girlfriend for a week in August (we'll continue over to Spain). Unfortunately, this turns out to be quite expensive. Sure, going there in the height of the season doesn't help either. We are starting out in Venice for 2 nights and with drained budget we want to make the best of the rest of our days, until we depart from Genoa by ferry. Venice is the only set point. We thought about going to Florence and Cinque Terre. I've been to Florence before, so I don't have to and some searching on CouchSurfing did not look promising. Finding affordable accomodation in Cinque Terre also doesn't seem to be easy. Do you guys have any tips on accomodation for Cinque Terre or affordable alternatives for Florence (& Cinque T.)? We are mostly looking for some beautiful nature, delicious food & wine, walking/hiking etc. not super expensive, accessible by Train or Bus (we have no car). Thank you!
