Hey guys, my friend and I (22 and 20) would like to go on a little trip next winter. Unfortunately we have got a small flight budget (200-250 euros) (and intend to go couch surfing) while still intending to escape the cold. My friend was into city trips, she liked Paris, Lisbon and Istanbul. I don't care whether it is a big city or not, I just want it to be as far away as possible from North Rhine-Westphalia (our staring point) and as warm as summer-like as possible, maybe a place with water.
So do you got any insider tips to broaden our horizon so that we do not end up in some classic tourist trap?
