Hello fellow travelers! I need some assistance. In July my friend and I will be going to Europe for the first time ever. The four top places we'll be going to are London, Brighton, Madrid and then Barcelona. We have a few places we want to visit, such as the London Eye, Buckingham Palace and Stonehenge but that's about it! We've googled, gone to TimeOut London, etc but theres so many places to visit that we're getting overwhelmed and the last thing we want to do is visit a place and say "that's it?" I guess what we're looking for is for some hidden gems within these cities, some popular attraction sights that are worth the price and the tourists, and of course, places that aren't worth it.
For some context, my friend and I are both females and we're in our young 20s. We'll be arriving to London on July 11th and then leaving to Brighton on July 14th (here's hoping England wins the World Cup on July 13th). We'll be staying in Brighton from July 14 to July 16 and then heading out to Madrid for another 2 days. In Barcelona is where we'll spend that last three days of our trip before heading back home.
