Going to Cozumel, Mexico 5/31-6/5 for scuba and Tulum 6/5-6/6. Looking for dining, beach, cenotes, activities (besides scuba) suggestions

Like I said, Cozumel Mexico from 5/31-6/5 scuba diving most days. We're renting a house in town, and hopefully the cheapest beater car the island offers.

Sublime low key, slow service (not rushed or touristy) restaurants.... specific dishes to try are welcome. Esp grilled seafood and seafood soup.

What beaches are the best to visit? I prefer snorkeling, surface diving, and seeing fish ... laying in the sun isn't my scene.

What pawn shops would you suggest? (I find it's the best place to find cheap and unique Mexican silver jewelry) or shops? Which streets are cheaper than the "main strip"?

Are there any activities on the island that beat bike riding, diving and swimming?

In Tulum for one full day. We'll probably dash through the ruins then hit a cenote with a case of beers. I swam in a cheap little roadside cenote about a year ago. What is the prettiest cenote where we can drink and not be around obnoxious children? (Kids are fine with me... as long as their parents aren't on a vacation from being parents)

Then on to Cancun for a wedding... hopefully not sporting a crazy sunburn.

Thank you so much for your time, consideration, and suggestions. I'm really looking forward to this.

[Edit] I forgot to say that I'm 25/F, I'm traveling with my beau, and my sister and her boyfriend... so, 4 total. Sis and I like active vacations [less touristy more traveling] my boyfriend likes to meet people, and her boyfriend doesn't know how to travel for fun [he does a lot of work traveling to Saudi :-)]
